Re-GREENHOUSE : Renewable energy in North-West Europe greenhouses

infographie-re-greenhouse-menu

RE-GREENHOUSE accelerates the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy production, storage and consumption in the greenhouse (GH) sector in the NWE region, which has the highest density of heated GHs in Europe and fossil fuels are the main energy source. A high potential for use of RES in the GH sector is unexploited because expertise on promising RES in GHs is locked behind borders and GH holders often lack time, means and knowledge (depends on scattered information) to make decisions.
