The agroBRIDGES project aims to equip farmers with practical knowledge and tools to set up new commercial and marketing models based on Short Food Supply Chains, in order to:
- Rebalance the market position of farmers and increasing their income.
- Better connect farmers with consumers and reducing intermediaries.
- Meet the societal demand of providing safe and quality local food.
- Reduce the environmental impact of agriculture.
In this context, the project determines regional and European multi-actor structures in order to develop, test and validate a combination of decision support, training, communication and other digital tools contained in the agroBRIDGES toolkit.
