
Qualiméditérranée, Terralia and VEGEPOLYS, the French Cluster Consortium for plant innovationwere pleased to invite the participants for the PIC Meeting 2016 in Montpellier, France, during 2 days (September 19 & 20).
This sixth edition has been once again a successful one with over 50 participants, clusters, SMEs, companies, research institutes from6 different countries(France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Russia, Géorgia).
Participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better, to find new partners and to start building up collaborative consortia in order to get ready for the next Horizon 2020 calls

During the 79 BtoB meetings, participants had the opportunity to meet potential partners and discuss about opportunities for collaboration in the field of efficient plant production.

- WorkShop 2 :Digital Services to Agriculture and ICT
The aim of thethematic workshops 1 and 2 was to clearly exchange on some possible answers to some 7 H2020 calls from the Societal Challenge 2 we have identified of interests and to set up future collaborative projects.
In the end, 10 ideas of European projects are to be incubated concerning the biocontrol and the digital agriculture

For the workshop, the discussions focused on how to keep networking practices alive between members all over the year and how to strengthen collaboration between clusters so as to find innovative ways to help their members joining European projects.

Visits of two technological platforms of precision :
- EvaSprayViti : Precision vine-growing
- GeoSud : Remote sensing systems and geoinformation
The event was opened to SMEs, Enterprises, Clusters, Universities, Laboratories and R&D Centers.
This event was a great opportunity to make new contact and find partners for their next European projects!
